Look Up...Get Up...NEVER Give Up

Another sport season has just ended and we're transitioning to a new one to finish strong this school year. Let's reflect on what happened from December '25 to mid-March '26:

Before the Christmas break, we were presented a prestigious banner of sportsmanship as our senior girls volleyball team represented our school during their provincial run. The girls demonstrated hard work, fair play, and team positivity in Wadena. Our team went above and beyond to make the games fun, enjoyable, respectful, and competitive throughout their run. Great job, ladies (and coaches)!sr girls vball sportsmanship

Our B boys and girls basketball teams continue their development as we prepare their transition to the next level. Also a big "Thank You!" to all our coaches for their hard-work and perseverance in investing on each of our student athletes. The future looks very bright in our basketball program! b basketball

Our A Girls basketball team showed true grit and poise throughout this season and are very proud of what they accomplished. Thanks to Coach Bosclair, Kuntz, and Driscoll for their devotion to our girls on and off the court. Great job ladies and coaches!a girls basketball

We have joined together with the Riverview Collegiate to form the South Hill Royal Falcons over the last few years. Our squad is in a rebuilding year with only three seniors on the 14 player roster and six players in grade nine. Improvement would be the name of the game throughout the season and these boys showed it.  They got better every game/practices and with a lot of grade nines and tens, they're getting some good competition from junior teams throughout the season. We are excited to see how good things two years from now will look.

Similar to our boys, we have joined forces with Briercrest Christian Academy with our girls basketball program. In a same insight, we have an upcoming athletes from our grade 9s but also have a few veterans in the team. These ladies played with passion every game and tournament they were involved in and showed true sportsmanship to both our schools on and off the court. Thank you, ladies and coaches for all your hard-work.

Our high school curling squad consisted of the boys, girls, and mixed divisions. All represented our school well throughout the season with our girls winning the city title on February. Many of our curlers showed great promise to our curling program in the years to come and our coaches are excited to see the potential they have executed and will demonstrate in the days ahead. Way to be on top of the house, CCS!

I'm so proud of each of our student athletes this winter season and their accomplishments both personal and organizational.  I'm looking forward to our spring sports here at CCS with badminton and track and field soon to be both in high gear and wrapping up our school year.  Let's go, Falcons!
