Back in Action!
Welcome back, CCS family! Hope this finds you and your family doing well as we begin this school year. This summer break flew by quickly, but in behalf of our coaches and student-athletes, we're excited to be back and hit the ground running.
A Year in Review
In cross country, great job by all our athletes from grades 4 to high school. Shoutout to Violet who finished 2nd and Nikki who finished 1st in districts and both headed to provincials and did well in their categories.
Our junior varsity boys volleyball won the city championship and brought the title back since 2013.
Our senior girls volleyball team had a tremendous season taking them all the way to provincials in Wadena/Foam Lake representing CCS with excellence—both in skill and in character. They were awarded a sportsmanship banner as their conduct reflected the heart of our school and the expectations we uphold for one another every day.
Our senior girls curling team won the gold medal at the city championship.
Our junior team crushed it this season by winning the city junior title and district championships as well. Out of the five categories, we took gold on four of them – girls singles (district), girls doubles (city), mixed doubles (city & district), boys doubles (district). Great job, everyone including our awesome coaches!
Our elementary badminton team played hard, competed with class, and showed great sportsmanship throughout the season. A special shoutout to Jed for bringing home bronze and Quinn for earning silver—well done! Thanks to Mr. Gutek and Kadi for the help and support this season!
Our high school athletes brought home district titles, medals, and personal bests this season!
